Five Mocktails That Can Be Prepared At Home

Here are the recipes five mock-tails to chill out in this summer which can be easily prepared at home without any special effort or ingredient.

Black Widow
Cola
8 scoops vanilla ice cream
6 tablespoons lime juice
Lime slice for garnish
Blend ice creem and juice until smooth. Pour into glasses and top with cola. Serves 4




Strawberry Heaven
2 cups strawberries
3 cups (750ml) orange juice
4 tablespoons sugar (optional)
Crushed ice
Blend ingredients until smooth. Serves 4. 



Flamingo
100ml cranberry juice
50ml pineapple juice
15ml lemon juice
50ml soda water
Pour the juices into a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a high ball glass and top with soda water. Garnish with a lime wedge


Creamy cherry smoothie
2 cups cherries, pitted
1 cup vanilla yoghurt
1 litre orange juice
Ice cubes
Place the cherries, yoghurt and juice into a blender with ice cubes and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses or a serving jug.

Raspberry Limeade
2/3 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups raspberries (about 6 ounces), fresh or frozen (thawed)
3 cups soda
 Ice cubes

Combine lime juice and sugar in a large pitcher, stirring to help dissolve the sugar.
Place berries in a fine-mesh sieve over a bowl. Use a rubber spatula to press on the berries, extracting the juice and some pulp while leaving the seeds behind. Stir the puree into the pitcher.
Just before serving, stir in seltzer. Serve over ice.www.eatingwell.com
