4 Quick Tips for surviving summer heat

1 Drink water 30 minutes before going out in sun.

www.bodycatalyst.com.au
Drinking water 30 minutes before going out help the body regulates the temperature evenly. Also try to avoid drinking chilled water before going out as it will lower the temperature of body more than the surroundings hence body will strive harder to maintain a temperature balance.

2 Eat Cucumber, lots and lots of it.
Fruits and vegetables like Cucumber, watermelon and tomatoes with high water content,  when eaten digest slowly and body draws water from them gradually thus you will have a storage of water inside, lowering your thirst. Also the fruits and veggies replenish the minerals and vitamins lost in sweat.

3 Wear Full sleeves clothes.

www.gotceleb.com
Might sound insane but more the body is covered with clothes preferably cotton (loose, not the tight fitting ones) lesser you are exposed to direct sun rays and a layer of trapped air acts as an insulator between the body and outside surroundings hence doesn’t let the body catch heat from outside.

4 Rising early is helpful.
www.womenshealthmag.com

Rise early in the morning and try to get your market or outside affairs disposed in the early day hours before 10:30 or 11 am. This way you will prevent yourself from getting exposed to harsh sun rays of noon.
